It’s February, 1939. The filming of Gone with the Wind is stuck in neutral with a script going nowhere. So famed producer David O. Selznick shuts down the production and brings in director Victor Fleming off the set of The Wizard of Oz, along with “script doctor” Ben Hecht, author of The Front Page. Selznick proceeds to lock them in the room and keeps them captive for five days, denied of any food or sleep, until a revised script is created. Filled with slapstick humor reminiscent of The Marx Brothers while also touching on the issues of racism and politics, Moonlight and Magnolias is a slashing satire on the inner workings of these three ego-driven men and the frenzied penning of the screenplay. Contains some mature language.“Frankly, my dear, this is one funny play.” Please note that the cancelled performance of Moonlight and Magnolias scheduled for Saturday, January 10th has been rescheduled for Sunday, January 25th at 7:00pm. If you held tickets to the January 10th performance you were automatically transferred to the 25th in your same seat location. If you cannot make the performance on the 25th then you can either exchange to any other performance or request a refund. Your original email confirmation contains a link that allows you to exchange your own seats online, or you can call the box office at 201-261-4200 and an operator will assist you during regular box office hours.
