GERARD BOURCIER (Set Design/Construction, Lighting Design, Projection Design) designed our sets for Ragtime: The Musical (Perry Award nomination), Spamalot; The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Pippin, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Enchanted April. He designed the lighting for Veronica’s Room, Steel Magnolias (Perry nomination) and Barbecue, and sets and lights for Moon Over Buffalo and Pippin. At the Players Guild of Leonia he designed sets and lights for Hair and The Toxic Avenger. This Vermonter holds an MFA from Catholic University in DC, where he also worked at the Folger Shakespeare Festival Library Theatre. He has worked at the NY Shakespeare Festival/Public Theater as an electrician, Master Electrician and designer, and designed several off-Broadway productions. Gerard freelances for corporate theater, movies, TV and at SUNY Purchase PAC. He received a National Youth Arts Award for the design of Stage, Scene & Song Performing Arts’ production of In the Heights.
