Currently performing in The Melody Lingers On, Sharla served as the show's choreographer, as well. She also choreographed this season's opening show, The Full Monty. This Life Member has performed in previous BCP productions of Our Enchanted Evenings, Follies In Concert (2007 Perry Award Nomination for Choreography), Anything Goes, Gypsy, And The World Goes Round, The Pajama Game, Company, Snow White Goes West, Extremitries, and Jake’s Women, and in workshop productions of Chicago, Pippin, Follies, and Foot by Foot by Fosse.

Off-stage, she has done Costumes for Lucky Stiff and The Mousetrap (2006 Perry Award Nomination), and Props for Lost In Yonkers, as well as serving as Producer for Crossing Delancey and Bus Stop. Former Board Member & Member At Large. Outside of BCP, favorite roles include Cassie in A Chorus Line and Lottie in Mack & Mabel.

In “real life”, Sharla is Co-Founder & Partner of Graphic Crossroads, LLC, a printing sales organization & executive search firm. She dedicates this performance to the memory of her best friend and "sister", Jan Engleman.
