Joan has appeared in eleven plays at BCP, including: Edith Frank in The
Diary of Anne Frank, Doris in Damn Yankees, Kate in
Brighton Beach Memoirs, Blanche in Broadway Bound, Trudy in
Social Security, Dorothy in Stepping Out, and Renee in
The Odd Couple, female version. She served as dance captain in
Zorba, Hello Dolly! and Damn Yankees.
Joan also stage managed thirteen productions at here including The Tale
of the Allergist's Wife, Enter Laughing, Amadeus, Of Mice & Men, A View
From the Bridge, A Few Good Men, The Heidi Chronicles, Lips Together
Teeth Apart, And The World Goes 'Round, I Hate Hamlet, Pack of Lies
and Sideman.
Joan has also served in several BCP board positions, including:
secretary, membership
vice president for two administrations and member-at-large to the play
and casting committee. She was a member of the box office committee for
fifteen
years and chairman of the stage managing committee for four years. She
created the procedural for stage managing presently in use at BCP.
Joan is married to
fellow member and lighting designer David Ross. |
