Glenn Woertz is very pleased indeed to be back on
the BCP stage after last season's comic turn as Hal in Lovers and
Other Strangers. His other roles at the Players have included
John in Lips Together Teeth Apart, the wickedly manipulative
Thomas in Murder in Green Meadows, Albert in A Thousand
Clowns, and Bill Coles in Other People's Money, as well
as roles in Love Letters, A Few Good Men, and Moon Over
Buffalo. An experienced stage fight and fencing choreographer,
Glenn contributed fights and fencing to our productions of
Orphans, Only Kidding, and Moon Over Buffalo, and to
productions elsewhere of The Zoo Story, Cyrano de Bergerac, and
Oklahoma!. At other venues, Glenn has played both Jerry and
Robert in Betrayal, Dude Lester in Tobacco Road,
Jerry and Peter in separate productions of Edward Albee's The Zoo
Story, and Cassio in Othello. He may be the only living
actor in North America to have played different roles in three
separate productions of the medieval French play, The Farce of the
Worthy Master Pierre Patelin. An avid horseman and fabulously
mediocre guitarist, Mr. Woertz raises expectations and tolerant boys
with his wife, actress/singer Cheryl Crabtree Woertz, on a tiny estate
in Alpine. The proud holder of Scouting's God and Country award, Mr.
Woertz is always kind to his dog and seldom kicks his mother.
