ELLYN ESSIG (Set Design & Décor) a BCP Life Member, has served as décor designer for 30 BCP main stage productions, her efforts resulting in a Perry Award for Table Manners (2005) and Perry nominations for Angel Street (2008) and Ruthless! The Musical (2014). Ellyn’s directing credits include BCP’s Pippin, Steel Magnolias (2018 Perry Award winner for Outstanding Production of a Play), Veronica’s Room, and Getting Away With Murder. At other local theaters she directed Hair (Players Guild of Leonia), Thoroughly Modern Millie (3sPA), and Catch Me If You Can. Ellyn is a longtime member of the Screen Actors Guild and has appeared in theatrical productions in NY, NJ and California. She is the co-founder of Stage Scene & Song Performing Arts, a local youth theater company dedicated to education and performance of youth ages 11-18 years.
