Gerard Bourcier
GERARD BOURCIER (Lighting Design) has been involved in theater since growing up in Vermont. He holds an MFA from Catholic University in DC, where he also worked at the Folger Shakespeare Library Theater. At the NY Shakespeare Festival/ Public Theater he worked as an electrician, Master Electrician and designer, and he has designed several off-Broadway productions. Gerard freelances for corporate theater, movies, and TV. At BCP he designed the lighting for A Grand Night for Singing, Moon Over Buffalo, Veronica’s Room, and Steel Magnolias (Perry Award nomination). Gerard’s set design credits at BCP include Ragtime: The Musical, Pippin, Spamalot, and The Mystery of Edwin Drood. At the Players Guild of Leonia he designed set and lights for Hair, and at Nutley Little Theater he designed set and lights for Ghost Train.
