Bergen County Players To Kick Off Its 2013 Second Stage
With THE AUTOGRAPH HOUND On January 26th and 27th

ORADELL, NJ -- January 8, 2013 - Currently celebrating its 80th consecutive season of producing quality local theater, Bergen County Players is proud to present The Autograph Hound at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell on Saturday, January 26th at 2pm & Sunday, January 27th at 7pm. Tickets are priced at $10 and can be purchased for this limited run online at www.bcplayers.org, by calling  201-261-4200, or by visiting the box office at 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell during regular box office hours.

The Autograph Hound, by James Prideaux, is a sharply humorous and inventive play which takes a revealing look at a wife who is an obsessive celebrity-chaser, a resentful husband who takes serious action against her compulsion and their young adult daughter who is caught between them.

Directed and produced by Jacqueline McElroy-Poquette and Ray Poquette, respectively (Westwood), The Autograph Hound stars actors Helen Boyadjian (Saddle River), Kelly Camp-Force (Wayne), and Frank Osmers (Haworth).

The production team includes Jacqueline McElroy Poquette (Director), Ray Poquette (Producer; Lighting & Sound Design), Margie Druss-Fodor (Assistant to the Director), Victoria Buchner (Assistant to the Director), Marisa Dolkart (Stage Manager), David Arts (Lighting Operator), Frank O’Leary (Sound Operator), Nina Lionetti (Properties), Bunny Mateosian (Costumes), Katie Weigl (Publicity), and Kathie Robitz (Member-at-Large).

First produced off-Broadway at the Albee-Barr-Wilder Playwrights Unit, this one-act, 60-minute comedy is “… a frequently funny, if slanderous analysis of the types who haunt stage doors, hotel entrances and Sardi’s doorway in search of celebrities’ signatures” (Variety).
